This young athlete boasts considerable online presence
The young golfer will have plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she begins her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Just stay calm."
"My grandpa basically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.
"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has played in only three events in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.
"And he's a more impressive person. He advised me to play, have fun, following whatever happens."
Kai will face multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, specifically with younger fans.
The social media influencer boasts a massive following and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness label.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
