The relatives of teens missing after a tragic blaze at a establishment in a Swiss winter destination are confronting an agonising wait for confirmed information and appealing for any details about their children publicly.

The inferno ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Confirmed video reveal the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Officials have warned that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the fatalities of the fire, which claimed the lives of four dozen individuals and injured another 119. Officials stated on Friday that the majority of the those hurt have been identified, with the process still underway to identify the final individuals.

Desperate Searches for the Missing
